I remembered something that my daughter had said to me last year which still makes me laugh quite a bit and sum’s up the innocence of childhood….Let me set the scene for you first..
It was a cold winter’s morning and thunderpants and I had decided to have a bath as I was off and she didn’t have nursery that morning. We had a nice pamper bath with some candles and smelly stuff and then decided that it was time to come out. So because it was so cold and the husband was still in bed, I told her to go and snuggle with her father and that I would join her after tidying the bathroom.
I then went and did what I needed to do and after i was finished, I jumped in beside her….
Thunderpants : Mummy, whats that?!
Me: What’s what?
Thunderpants: THAT! and she put her hand on my bum
Me: Thats my bum!
Thunderpants: ALL OF IT , MUMMY?
What can you say to that then?…..
