i see from twitter page you work for rape crisis…i have been doing a bit of work re raising awareness of caring for women who have been sexually abused during pregnancy and birth so grateful for any advice
Hi Geraldine. I had been doing some volunteer work for them,on a break just now , they are an amazing organisation and I can certainly pass on some details for one of the coordinators if that would help?
Angeline, how grown up ur wee girl has gotten from when I used to look after her. Found up website purely by chance. She still looks exactly the same by the way! Congrats on the new baby. I still think I have some baby pics of M if u’d like them. B x
Fellow crazy-mum! I came across your blog when I googled Dr. Margaret Oats. You, see like you I am a great fan of hers. I suffered of Purple Psychosis in 2007 and stayed at the Baby and Mother unit in Nottingham, under the leadership of Dr. Oates.
Now you might ask what lead me to google her name? Well Women’s hour are putting a list of 100 Powerful Women. I think definitely Dr. Margaret Oats should be on that list. Here is the link http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/features/womans-hour/power-list/?submission=success, in case you also want to nominate her or any other women.
I congratulate you too for keeping a blog and help talk about mental health as any other health condition out there!
By the way, I am not much of an exercise person, (there is a big gap in my life between what I know is good for me and what I in fact I do), but after reading about you, I will try to do some more.
Have a great weekend!

About this Blog
Here is a blog which mainly started out about my journey through PND. I want to raise awareness about this issue still but i am not defined by the experience, and i also write about things about our life. I love a good bargain, trying to save money, trying new things and also about me as an individual. I am batshit crazy and this shines through in my posts:) I feel passionate about womens issues, and am very much into feminism, and raising awareness of issues that i feel strongly about. I am opinionated and try not to cause too much offense :)
Trying to contact you but emails are coming back as undelivered. Thinking of you… Heather (from P.S.S.) x
